1. Service Agreement

At Nova Auto Transport LLC, our mission is to make vehicle shipping safe, simple, and stress-free. We work closely with trusted, insured auto transport professionals to coordinate pickup and delivery according to your schedule and location.

We oversee all logistics from quote to delivery to ensure you’re informed and supported every step of the way. Once your shipment is assigned to a carrier, a direct agreement is established between you and that carrier. Our team remains available for ongoing support, communication, and coordination throughout the process.

2. Quotes & Pricing

• All quotes are based on current market conditions, carrier availability, and the information you provide during booking.
• Once a carrier is assigned, your quoted rate is considered your final scheduled transport cost, unless there are material changes in shipment details.
• Examples of material changes:
  • The vehicle is inoperable or oversized but not disclosed.
  • Pickup or delivery locations change after dispatch.
  • You request rescheduling after a driver is assigned.
• In such rare cases, we may adjust the rate based on actual carrier costs. You’ll always be notified in advance and asked to approve any changes.
• We guarantee no hidden fees and make every effort to honor your original quote as long as the booking details remain accurate.

3. Payment & Deposits

A non-refundable deposit is required once a carrier is assigned. This confirms your booking and allows us to begin immediate service work including dispatch coordination, internal system processing, and carrier availability verification.

This upfront deposit is not just a hold — it covers real administrative and operational efforts started on your behalf the moment your booking is confirmed.

The remaining balance is due at the time of vehicle delivery and must be paid directly to the carrier via cash or Zelle.

Credit card payments for final balances are not accepted unless arranged in writing before dispatch.

Submitting a credit card chargeback without following our official cancellation or claims process is a violation of this agreement and may result in collections or legal action.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Once your order is placed and the booking is confirmed, our dispatch and operations team begins working immediately to secure a reliable carrier and coordinate your transport within your desired pickup window.

Please understand that internal resources, time, and system usage are allocated on your behalf as soon as the order is submitted — even before a carrier is fully assigned. The booking deposit helps cover these essential service efforts, which are initiated right away.

For this reason:

• Cancellations requested after booking may not be eligible for a deposit refund.
• If a carrier has already been assigned, routed, or dispatched toward your pickup location, additional cancellation fees may apply to cover the work already done.

In rare cases, refund exceptions may be reviewed at our discretion, but due to the scheduling nature of auto transport, most orders are considered final once confirmed.

5. Pickup & Delivery

• We offer door-to-door pickup and delivery whenever possible. If access is limited (e.g., narrow streets or weight restrictions), we’ll coordinate a nearby location that’s safe and accessible.
• Vehicles must be in the condition described at booking and operable unless otherwise noted.
• A pre-transport inspection is performed at pickup, and the customer or their authorized agent must be present to sign the Bill of Lading.
• The same applies at delivery — we encourage full inspection before accepting the vehicle.
• Please remove all personal belongings from the vehicle. Neither Nova Auto Transport LLC nor the carrier is responsible for items left inside.

6. Liability & Insurance

• Every carrier we dispatch is required to carry active cargo insurance per FMCSA regulations.
• All claims for damage must be filed directly with the carrier’s insurance provider.
• Please inspect your vehicle carefully at delivery and note any damage on the Bill of Lading.
• Damage not listed at the time of delivery may be considered pre-existing.
• Customers must report any issues to Nova Auto Transport LLC within 48 hours of delivery, along with dated photos and supporting documentation.

7. Delays & Limitations of Liability

• Estimated pickup and delivery windows are just that — estimates. Delays may occur due to weather, traffic, mechanical issues, or other unforeseen events.
• Nova Auto Transport LLC is not liable for any costs related to delay, such as car rentals, hotel stays, or missed appointments.
• Drivers have the right to refuse transport if the vehicle poses a safety risk or if the booking details were misrepresented.

8. Rescheduling & Location Changes

• Before Carrier Assignment: Pickup or delivery changes are free.
• After Assignment or Dispatch:
  • Rescheduling pickup or delivery may incur a $100 rescheduling fee.
  • Changing the pickup or delivery address may incur a minimum $100 surcharge, depending on mileage, fuel costs, and carrier route.
• These changes may also result in adjusted pickup or delivery timing.

9. No-Show, Storage & Abandonment Policy

If the customer or agent is unavailable at the time of pickup or delivery and no backup plan is communicated, the following may apply:

• Storage fees
• Re-dispatch or redelivery fees
• Vehicles left unclaimed for more than 7 days may be considered abandoned, and the customer will be responsible for all towing, storage, and legal recovery costs.
• Nova Auto Transport LLC does not take ownership of vehicles under any circumstances.

10. Messaging & Communication Policy

• By providing your phone number and email, you agree to receive shipment updates via SMS, phone calls, and email.
• Standard messaging rates may apply. You may unsubscribe at any time by replying STOP to SMS or using the unsubscribe link in emails.
• Nova Auto Transport LLC follows all communication laws including the TCPA and CAN-SPAM Act.

11. Our Role as a Licensed Broker

Nova Auto Transport LLC operates as a licensed and bonded auto transport broker — not a carrier.
This means we do not own trucks, but instead coordinate your shipment with FMCSA-registered, insured carriers that best match your needs.
This model is standard in the auto transport industry and allows us to provide faster service, better prices, and more options than individual carriers.
While your contract for transport is ultimately between you and the carrier, Nova Auto Transport LLC remains your point of contact for assistance, updates, and coordination at every stage.

12. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

• This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California.
• Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA).
• Arbitration will take place in Contra Costa County, CA.
• Both parties waive the right to a trial by jury and agree that all claims must be brought individually — not as part of a class action.
• Each party will bear its own legal and arbitration costs, unless the arbitrator decides otherwise.

13. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for any delay or failure in performance caused by events outside of our control, such as:

• Natural disasters
• Severe weather
• Accidents
• Carrier breakdowns
• Strikes or labor shortages
• War, terrorism, or government restrictions

14. Severability

If any portion of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.

15. Updates to Terms & Conditions

Nova Auto Transport LLC may revise these terms at any time. The most current version is always available at novaautotransport.com.
By continuing to use our services, you agree to the terms in effect at that time.

16. Price Adjustments

All prices, quotes, and estimates provided by Nova Auto Transport LLC are based on recent shipment data and current market trends at the time of booking. Our pricing reflects the average cost of similar routes and vehicle types from previous shipments. However, actual rates may vary depending on factors such as fuel prices, carrier availability, seasonal demand, distance, vehicle condition, size, and pickup/delivery locations. Because transportation costs can fluctuate daily, the final price will be confirmed once a carrier is assigned to your shipment. Nova Auto Transport LLC reserves the right to adjust the quoted price to reflect these real-time conditions.

17. Multiple Bookings Disclaimer

If you contact or book with another auto transport company while your order is active with Nova Auto Transport LLC, carriers may see duplicate listings for your vehicle on national load boards. This often results in carriers demanding higher rates or avoiding the shipment altogether. In such cases, Nova Auto Transport LLC will not be responsible for any increase in your shipping cost caused by multiple broker listings or competing orders placed by the customer.
